You can safely check a few things yourself. Open the door and run your finger along the inside of the bottom track; if you feel nicks or see black dust, that’s roller wear. Push on the corners of the panel; movement means the rollers need adjustment or replacement. What you shouldn’t do is pull the door panel off the track.
